This post will be dedicated to celebrate this blog’s FIFTH BLOGAVERSARY! YEAH! This is, however, the very first celebrated blogaversary in this blog’s history. In recent years, I actually have already planned to have blogaversary celebrations starting from the next year when I come up with the idea.

Nevertheless, memories are mysterious, Ladies and Gentlemen. This idea is somehow unintentionally delayed until this year. :p. Interestingly, this blog was actually created on November 8th 2008, while the celebration is now, on November 13th 2013. In contrast to the unintentional delay mentioned earlier, this time I kind of intentionally make it delayed five days to point out that this blog has existed for five years! *throws a fist to the air to create some dramatic effect*

Anyway, I’ve prepared a gift. And the gift is… TAAAA-DAAAA! Guitar chords of The Early November’s Five Years. This is simply because… (1) This blog was created on November 8th 2008, which is really in the early November. (2) This blog has been running for five years!

The Early November - Five Years (Chords)

D#5 E#5 F#5
D#m C# B

D#5 (E#5 F#5)
Try and pretend

To remember when you're scared, you say,

D#5                                         C#5
"Now, do you think that we could be

F#5
These people who lose everything?"

D#m         C#                                      B
and don't forget; pretend you're scared

C#
Pretend it well...

F#
I'm finally at the place I'm staying;
I finally have a place to call my own

B
I'm trying not to lose my reasons;
I'm planning to remember all I know

D#m
And you know if I lose my fear, it comes back;

                             B
I hope he knows I tried...

D#5 E#5 F#5
D#m C# B

D#5 (E#5 F#5)
Try and pretend

To erase the past five years you lived;

D#5                             C#5                 F#5
Now, do you think it would be the same?

Would you make the same mistakes

D#m                C#                      B
or would you learn? But then you lose

C#
If it weren't for you...

F#
I'm finally at the place I'm staying;
I finally have a place to call my own

B
I'm trying not to lose my reasons;
I'm planning to remember all I know

D#m
And you know if I lose my fear, it comes back;

B
I hope he knows I tried...

C#
That I tried...

B
That I tried...

C#
Now, do you think that we could be
The kind that take everything?

B
For better or worse, or what we say?
We know we make the same mistakes;

C#
The ones that really brought us here
Now, don't you think that we would change?

B
We always make the same mistakes;
The ones that win, they run this way...

F#
I'm finally at the place I'm staying;
I finally have a place to call my own

B
I'm trying not to lose my reasons;
I'm planning to remember all I know

D#m
And you know if I lose my fear, it comes back;

      B
I hope he knows I tried...

F#
I tried...

B
I tried...

D#m
I tried...

B
I tried...
