Resistance from Alana (stylized as RESISTANCE FROM ALANA and often abbreviated as RFA) is a post-hardcore band formed in Bandung, Indonesia in 2009. They have gone through several line-up changes until late 2011. Their current line-up is Meika (scream vocals), Adnan (guitar, clean vocals), Rudi (guitar), Wilman (guitar), Eka (bass, scream vocals), and Ahsan (drums). The band's musical style is somewhat similar to that of Alesana with a blend of synth and piano in some of their songs. Like Alesana, they also use the term “sweetcore” to describe their musical style as they bring the heavy end of music and the softer end of music together. Their most recent song is "Runaway", which serve as an original soundtrack of a short-film with the same title produced by Over Crazy Arts.
